Brody EldridgePostcards from Yerevan, Armenia - June 2025
Wide streets, medium width sidewalks, and plenty of greenery. The summer sun melts into the facades, all different shades of orange and beige. It is as if the blue sky, empty of clouds (until the overcast rolls in), were mercifully relinquishing the cool breeze which blows through town.
The twilight dawdles onto the scene, and the streets still bustle with life as dim lights turn on.
In the hot air, you feel yourself floating. Or perhaps it's the wine. Even the coins feel light in your pocket.

The Armenian Genocide Memorial
Nestled firmly in the south of the Caucasus region, Armenia boasts a diverse cuisine; Lavash as intangible cultural. Stay steadfast; ignore the fast food.
Mount Ararat looms in the foreground. How did Noah's ark get up so high? And what did he find upon his descent into the land of Armenia?
